Pictures:
I chose these pictures for this Act because of two reasons. The first reason is associated with the first picture. I chose this picture because Juliet drinks a poison-type liquid in a small vial. The vial in the picture also looks kind-of like an antique. I chose the two other pictures because Capulet refers to "dead" Juliet to a frost-covered flower, and those images are of frost-covered flowers.
Shakespearean Version: Death lies on her like an untimely frost
Upon the sweetest flower of all the field.
Other Version:
She’s dead, like a beautiful flower, killed by an unseasonable frost.

Act Four Songs:
Act 4, Scene 1
Song: Hello
By: Martin Solveig and Dragonette
I chose this song for Act 4, Scene 1 because I feel that this is what Juliet would be thinking in her head. The song starts with the lyric "I could stick around and get along with you." This could be what Juliet is telling Paris. If it weren't for the situation with Romeo, she could get married, but since I'm in love with Romeo it won't work. Another lyric would be "I just came to say hello." I think that Juliet would say this to Paris because she isn't really going to try to marry Paris.
Act 4, Scene 3
Song: A Thousand Years
By: Christina Perri
I chose this song for Act 4, Scene 3 because of many reasons. This song is really sad, and this scene is the scene in which Juliet drinks the poison. One great example that this song is perfect for this scene is the chorus. "I have died every day waiting for you Darlin' don't be afraid I have loved you for a Thousand years I'll love you for a Thousand more" Juliet is literally dying because she doesn't want to have to marry Paris.
Act 4, Scene 5
Song: If I Die Young
By: The Band Perry
I chose this song for Act 4, Scene 5 because, obviously, this is the scene in which every body finds Juliet's "dead" body. A part of a verse that reminds me a lot of this scene is "There's a boy here in town, says he'll love me forever,
Who would have thought forever could be severed by...the sharp knife of a short life, oh well? I've had just enough time." This reminds me a lot of what Juliet would be thinking if she wasn't "dead." She'd be thinking (if she wasn't thinking about being with Romeo) well, Paris, it was a "pleasure" to meet you, but I am kind of dead at a really young age so oops.
